California Regional Theater Alliance began as a small theater company focused on one core value, “People above Project” Today we serve hundreds of families and patrons with award winning performances, classes and camps all connected to our continually expanding performance academy and performance venues.

What exactly does “People over Project” mean? Well, actually to us it means everything!

We have, and always will, cling to the understanding that by valuing people first, the project will take care of itself. Essentially, that people are always the highest goal. Helping people of all ages and in all positions to be loved and cared for; to be lifted up and supported in everything they aspire to accomplish in the performing arts; coming along side with highly trained directors and instructors filled with encouragement, determination and a brief in bringing out the best in each participant.

In a nut shell we are all about the people we serve and the people who join us in that service.

With these goals and values in hand we have assisted hundreds of children and families through learning, performing and being patrons of the arts!

Giving is our goal and loving is our message. How exactly do we do that?

CRT Alliance has several divisions that serve our community and raise the voice of artists in their craft including

  • Classes for ages 5-6, 7-10, 11-13 and 14-16
  • Workshops for adults ages 16 and above
  • Specialized Vocal, Acting and Dance workshops for all ages
  • Performance opportunities for all ages throughout the year at large and intimated performance venues across the Chico area.
  • Scholarships for underserved students.
  • Partnerships with local non profit arts community members.

Being apart of such a dynamic and caring community of people, and working with such accomplished directors and instructors has brought the highest of excellence in performance and growth for everyone committed to this alliance of art.
